Indirect Question Sentences

An indirect question sentence is not a question but a noun clause.
After the interrogative sentence [interrogative + S+V...]
with inside the question clause treated as a noun (subject S, object O, complement C). [interrogative + ...].
The words in parentheses are in the word order of an affirmative sentence
(interrogative + [subject] + verb).
If the interrogative and the subject agree, there is no subject
. When the verb in the sentence is in the past tense,
the verb in the indirect question is also in the past tense.
Present tense:I know where the shop is
Past tense:I knew where the shop was
